Vitamins for Hair That is Thinning or Fine

There are specific vitamins that you can take for hair that is thinning or fine. Taking these vitamins for hair on a regular basis can help your head of hair appear to have more volume.

The ACE formula of vitamin supplementation can really help thicken thin, fine locks. ACE is an acronym for pills that contain vitamins A, C and E together.  Often vitamins for hair that are sold like this also contain biotin or zinc as well. This helps to increase the effectiveness of the other vitamins in the bottle. The A helps you build protein to thicken the hair shaft, the vitamin C helps fight free radicals and nourish your scalp follicles and the E is effective in accelerating hair growth as well as assisting in every aspect of hair repair.

In addition make sure you are taking a supplement that combines biotin, the B vitamins and zinc.  Eat eggs every day if you want your hair to look lovely. It also does not hurt to increase the volume, strength and flexibility of your hair by using a shampoo and conditioner that contains biotin.

In order to make sure your hair does not thin out, especially if it is due to aging, is to take Omega 3 acids. This is good fat that is found in foods like salmon and avocado.  You need to take these acids every day to help encourage your hair follicles to produce thicker hair strands.

There are many reasons that hair can become thin or fine. One reason is malnutrition and it just seems to happen to people who are aging. Hair that is not cut or trimmed regularly can also shred at the ends and develop split ends. This can make it look very thin.

Stress on the hair strands is also a huge cause of hair that looks thin. Physical tension can cause it fall out. You can cause your hair duress by using hair dryers, curlers and hair extensions that clip in to make it look fuller. In the case of hair extension the cure might be worse than the problem as they tend to pull hair out of the scalp so that you lose it.  Drying out the hair causes it to lose its tensile strength and flexibility which also causes it to fall out. If you are really serious about having hair that looks thicker you should put down the gels, powders and clip on tresses that are meant to make it look like it has more volume because they can do more harm than good over the long-term.

If you want your hair to look thick your best approach is to turn your hair upside down once it is partially dry from letting it air out naturally after a shampoo and conditioner and fluff it manually. Do not slick it down with a lot of goop or burn it with hot air.

It is important to remember that vitamins for hair cannot solve all of your problems. Proper care of your hair is absolutely crucial if you want it to look thick and healthy and also if you want to grow it past your shoulders.
